Sun-kissed beaches, cool pine groves, the always calm lake, Eden”. This is Giacomo Puccini’s beautiful depiction of Torre del Lago, a corner of the Versilia cost nested between the Mediterranean scrub of Lake Massaciuccoli, the beaches of the Tirreno Sea and the peaks of the Apuan Alps.

Here, for over fifty years, Hotel Giuly welcomes the tourists of this small Tuscan reality, who made the famous composer fall in love and was his source of inspiration. An ideal place for those who want to relax on the beach or in the nature, Torre del Lago is also conveniently placed at short distances from cities such as Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and Florence.


Born as colonial house for the Borbone’s Estate, the building still preserves the typical country style of the Lucca scrub, made unique by the warm and welcoming homey atmosphere.


The country-style rooms are comfortable and equipped with private bathroom with shower, TV, heating and – on the road side – air conditioning.

Giuly Vegan Restaurant was born in 2012, with the goal to share a message and legitimize a lifestyle which is still subject to skepticism.

Right from the beginning, we decided to combine simplicity and quality: we aim to marry the tradition and classic ingredients of Tuscan cuisine (which, at its roots, makes great use of vegetables) with the vegan philosophy: working as much as possible with the environment around us, with high-quality, locally produced, seasonal and organic products..


We provide a selected menu that varies according to product availability and inspiration: our goal is to offer you a journey through the taste of cruelty-free cuisine and show you that giving up animal-based products does not necessarily mean giving up the taste and joy of a meal.


The summer garden, thriving with flowers and aromatic herbs, is designed as a calm, relaxing background for your dinner in the warmer months.


The restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday, from April to September.
